Worship-Music Opportunities (Altar Guild, Choir, Hand Bells, etc.) are availability to all Members. .....For more information Click Here.

 

 

Coffee, juice and snacks are served in the Fellowship Hall before Sunday School.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 and is available for ages 3 and up. For more information on the Children's Sunday School Click Here.

The adult class covers a wide range of topics. Watch the bulletin for the topics to be covered..


A Nursery is available for ages up to 4 during Sunday morning. It’s open for both services, as well as during Sunday School for those children to young to attend a class.

 

 

Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays in the Traditional Service. The Contemporary Service will celebrate communion on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.

CHILDREN'S SERMON:

During the worship service on non-communion Sundays (2nd, 4th & 5th when applicable), a special message is presented especially for the children.

 

 

 

 


HOLY COMMUNION:

Offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month and on All Feast Days.

 

 

 

 

 

WORSHIP AND MUSIC ACTIVITES

ALTAR GUILD:  Made up of men and women who prepare the Communion, take                             care of altar paraments, and decorate for the seasons.

MUSIC:

Music is a priority at GSLC. Martin Luther, the founder of the Lutheran church was a musician and hymn writer. Continuing that focus we encourage a great deal of variety and opportunity to make music an essential part of worship. The music program at GSLC is director by Dr. Robert Mueller.

The music programs are active from September Through May.

Adult Choir practices each Wednesday evening and sings at alternate services every Sunday.

             

The Church Band practices Wednesdays evening and generally plays once a month at  both services.

               

Handbells practice each Wednesday evening and play once  a month at both services.

                

 

Children's Choirs include the "lambs" and the "flock" are directed by Oma Blackwell and usually sing at both worship services from September through May.
