CANOE TRIP

MISSION TRIP TO APPALACHIAN MOUNTAINS

Movement comes in many forms. You can be moved to action or to stillness. You can be moved to make noise or moved to silence. Are you ready to be moved by helping and seeing the world differently? Are you ready to move into a closer relationship with Jesus?

I have planned a mission trip through YouthWorks for summer of 2008 for teens entering the 7th grade to 12th grade. We will be going to Bluefield, West Virginia located 2,655 feet above sea level in the Appalachian Mountains. We will be leaving June 28 and getting back July 5, 2008. I have reserved and put a deposit down for 15 people including four sponsors (which I already have). I may be able to get a few more spots if they are not already taken. The cost is normally $248.00 but was lowered to $198.00. To go you need to put $50 down is non-refundable (scholarships available) We will try to raise the rest. Not only will we be helping the area some of the evening activities include site seeing Pinnacle Rock, coal mine tour, and a cookout. Check out our typical day below.

What an awesome opportunity be moved and become the passionate hands and feet of Jesus!!!

Your Youth Director, Kim Krummel
